After graduating from Griffith University in 2018, I spent some time abroad before joining the Southport Sharks marketing team in late 2019 as a Social Media Marketing Assistant. Since then, my career has progressed, and in 2022, I proudly stepped into the role of Senior Digital Marketing Coordinator.
Over the years, my responsibilities evolved from curating engaging social media content to leading diverse marketing campaigns and overseeing key projects across the club. With 11 unique sub-brands under the Southport Sharks umbrella, this role gave me invaluable experience across various industries, including health and fitness, entertainment, hospitality, hotels, and, of course, sports. It’s been an exciting journey, blending creativity, strategy, and the opportunity to contribute to a thriving organisation.
Campaign videos
During my time at Southport Sharks, I had the privilege of working on several impactful campaign videos.
On the left, you'll find the lead campaign video for our Summer Sale, which I personally created, filmed, and edited. This project allowed me to showcase my skills in end-to-end video production.
On the right, you'll see the organization’s latest hero video, highlighting everything the club has to offer. Since 2020, until production, I led the project management for this initiative, working closely with an external production company and stakeholders within the business. This video represents years of planning, collaboration, and dedication to capturing the essence of the Southport Sharks brand.
FREELANCE
As a freelancer, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with diverse businesses such as Plus 2 Clothing, USP, Gold Coast Masters, Pink Conveyancing, Naturopathy and Me, Homes Ready 2 Sell, and Book It & Send. My experience spans various aspects of digital marketing and design, including social media management and strategy implementation, digital content creation, and web design/management. I specialise in photography, videography, and graphic design, utilising Adobe Creative Suite to create engaging content and marketing collateral such as flyers, brochures, outdoor signage, business cards, and pull-up banners. By liaising closely with clients, I analyse content creation opportunities and tailor strategies to meet their unique needs, ensuring impactful results across multiple platforms.
